Introduction and Commitment

Eggs Benedict Tech LLC is committed to ensuring that AI Homeroom provides an accessible and inclusive digital environment for all users, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to allow visitors to browse and engage with our STEAM learning content, the Wix Programs App, and our AI tutors like Sparky, with a comparable level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors.

This commitment aligns with our mission to make personalized education universally accessible.

 

Accessibility Standards and Adjustments

 

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1) guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA (Double-A). Level AA is the current widely accepted benchmark for web accessibility compliance globally.

This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also completed the following adjustments:

• Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues within the Wix editor.

• Set the language of the site (English) explicitly in the code.

• Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages for screen reader navigation.

• Added alternative text to all non-decorative images, including learning graphics and educational charts.

• Implemented color combinations that meet the required WCAG AA color contrast ratios for text and interface elements.

• Reduced the use of motion on the site to avoid triggering seizures or discomfort.

• Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible (e.g., videos include captions).

• Set the content order of the site’s pages to allow for logical keyboard navigation.

 

Declaration of Partial Compliance due to Third-Party Content

 

The accessibility of certain pages on the site depends on contents that do not belong to Eggs Benedict Tech LLC, and instead belong to Google Cloud (Dialogflow Messenger).

The following pages are affected by this, particularly in the chat interface:

• /chat-page (Sparky's main chat interface)

• Any other page hosting the embedded DF-Messenger component.

We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages. While we have styled the chatbot for accessibility (e.g., color contrast), the internal markup and ARIA attributes of the embedded DF-Messenger component are maintained by Google. We rely on Google's commitment to accessibility for this specific element.

 

Accessibility Arrangements in the Organization

As AI Homeroom is an entirely digital, online learning platform without physical offices or customer-facing branches, all of our accessibility arrangements are focused on the digital environment (web, mobile app). Our support services are entirely remote and can be accessed via email, phone, or live chat.
